The first step to enable your SSL certificate is to enter your admin panel at http://www.yourdomain.com/admin. Once you login go to the System menu and select the Settings sub-menu.
Now, click on the Edit button next to your store
On this page, you need to click on the Server tab to open the page with the server settings.
Now, locate the Use SSL option, and set it to Yes. Then click on the Save button to enable your SSL for your OpenCart store.
